Right to object
Home » Social networks » Data subjects rights » Right to object

Data subjects must have a possibility to revoke any prior consent given to a specific data processing and to object to the processing of data relating to them (see the “Right to Object” subsection in the “Data Subjects’ Rights” section of the General Part of these Guidelines). The exercise of such right must be possible without any technical or organisational constraints and the tools provided to register this withdrawal should be accessible, visible and efficient. Thus, researchers/innovators should make this option available for data subjects as soon as they start processing the data gathered from social networks.
